Kx Advisors Partners with Three Nonprofit Organizations

WASHINGTON, DC (October 22, 2021) — Under the direction of the firm’s Giving Committee, Kx Advisors is proud to announce our formal support of three nonprofit organizations. These organizations reflect Kx Advisors’ values and interest in bettering our local and global communities.

National Center for Missing & Exploited Children

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) is a nonprofit whose mission is to help find missing children, reduce child sexual exploitation, and prevent child victimization. By working with families, victims, private industry, law enforcement, and the public NCMEC assists with preventing child abductions, recovering missing children, and providing services to deter and combat child sexual exploitation.

“In NCMEC’s fight to keep children safe, we receive millions of reports each year related to missing and exploited children. This collection of data allows our analysts to identify patterns and trends that could prevent the next abduction or exploitation of a child. The partnership with Kx Advisors supports our efforts to become more data driven as we seek innovative ways to respond and prevent crimes against children,” John Clark, President and CEO National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, said.

Martha’s Table

Martha’s Table is a DC nonprofit committed to supporting strong children, strong families, and strong communities. They provide healthy food, quality education, and family resources for Washingtonians.

“The charities Kx  supports were chosen by the employees on our Giving Committee and we’re proud to donate to and support an organization that has such a positive impact on our local community,” Dan O’Neill, Managing Partner, said of Martha’s Table. Kx employees will be volunteering with Martha’s Table to pack bags of fruit, vegetables, and pantry staples to be distributed in the community.

SuitUp

SuitUp is a nonprofit that aims to increase career readiness for all students through innovative business plan competitions. Kx will be supporting a week of programing, with Kx employees acting as both coaches and judges in that week’s virtual competition.

“We’re especially excited to support SuitUp’s mission of helping students see the corporate world as part of their world,” Bob Serrano, Managing Partner, said. “By coaching these students on a variety of skills, we believe our team of experts can help empower the next generation of business leaders.”
